A great beach and start of the 30 km whiteway for skating and skiing. A center of the community year round.

This was so much fun. We all went to the unique Whiteway skating trail. What a beautiful experience. It's also set up for cross country skiing, fat bikes (snow tires), etc.. There were skaters of all levels, but note that skating on natural ice is more difficult than at a rink. It's a $5 donation for the day. They have extended donation schedules for locals, etc.. I am visiting friends in Calgary from California. What a cool Canadian experience this was.

Epic beach. Did you know the building there is solar powered? They capture rain water and its heated by solar hot water. So when you rinse off the sand it's warm water. Wow! Also the electricity they are using is partially solar power.
